Cherry Dropping


There's one of eleven cherry trees along the school fence that actually produces cherries. I've mentioned before that most cherry trees are sterile. After the emergency evacuation practice, the teacher's aide shook the tree's boughs for the cherries to drop.
I think they're second graders; I don't know them so well.
